Department of ECE, Ramachandra College of Engineering inaugurated its students’ activity club HUNT "Home of Unlimited Novel Technologies" on 21.12.2010.

  • Organizing activities that lead to social awareness and it’s responsibilities.

To achieve the above goals, “HUNT” conducts group discussions, Technical Quiz competitions, Seminars, Expert lectures, Paper Presentation, Poster Presentation, Circuit Ideas and Mini Project Exhibitions etc.

HHOC (Hands for Helping Orphan Children) is also a part of HUNT, regularly organizes charity programs for the local orphan homes.

ISTE Student Chapter

The ECE department launched the ISTE Student Chapter at Ramachandra College of Engineering (RCE) on June 1, 2024. The goal is to help students improve their technical, professional, and leadership abilities. The chapter sets up guest lectures, coding challenges, workshops, and seminars. Students and instructors may use it to connect with people in the business world. Going to ISTE events makes you more confident and ready for a job. AICTE-ISTE-sponsored FDPs and collaborative research help faculty members. Students get to know people and compete on a national level. In general, the chapter fosters whole-person growth in a technical learning setting.

The IETE (Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers) Student Chapter at RCE encourages students to do their best in electronics, communication, and IT. It gives students a chance to learn skills that are useful in the real world via technical events and training. The chapter holds lectures, workshops, hackathons, and paper presentations on a regular basis. It encourages engineering students to be creative, do research, and learn via projects. Members gain from talking to leaders in academia and the business world. Students may go to IETE conferences and contests at the national level. Students and faculty may also read IETE articles and use technical resources. In general, the chapter improves technical skills, leadership, and job chances.
